Meet Lauren Drell

Founder, Quincy Creative

Lauren is an energetic and compassionate journalist-turned-marketer with 15 years of storytelling and brand-building experience. She started her own consultancy in January 2019, helping brands like Bond Vet, Aday, Levain Bakery and W&P with branding, messaging & creative strategy.

Lauren went into journalism to tell human-centric stories, and she was always drawn to the stories of entrepreneurs. Now, she works with them, channeling her storytelling chops to help brands win mindshare — and conversions — in an increasingly complex consumer landscape.

Lauren is a problem-solver who rolls up her sleeves to help brands get to the next level with cohesive campaigns, strong storytelling and cultural relevance. During the nascent years of branded content, she led Mashable’s branded content program, overseeing campaigns for Adobe, BMW, Netflix, Samsung and more. She then went brand-side to run content and creative at sweetgreen for 3 years. After leading marketing for the sustainable apparel brand Faherty, Lauren took the plunge and set up her own shop.

Today, Quincy Creative works with consumer brands on positioning, messaging, CRM, creative strategy and full-funnel brand marketing. The variety of clients and industries keeps the work interesting and the creative sharp.
